Love paddling but hate hauling your bulky equipment around? 

Come to a JCWA Pop-Up Paddling event!

Pop-Up Paddling Events are a great way to enjoy the sport of paddling without breaking the bank! JCWA has invested in a fleet of canoes, single and tandem kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards for the public to rent. Acme Dam (aka Chestnut Ridge Park, just off of Rt. 31 in the town of Acme) provides and its surrounding area gives participants good opportunities to see wildlife like turtles, herons, bullfrogs, and ducks, or just enjoy a relaxing float in the sunshine!

Admission:

$10/person for General Public

Pre-registration is strongly recommended to ensure equipment is available.

Rentals include boat of choice (based on availability), life vest, and paddle for 1 hr. Additional rental time available for purchase based on demand.
