Autumn Bird Outing with the Westmoreland Bird & Nature Club

Where: Enjoy an autumn morning by experiencing nature with it's finest allies - the Westmoreland Bird & Nature Club. These expert birders will lead us around the Jacobs Creek Wetlands and then take us to Laurelville for a nature tour of a beautifully reclaimed mine area. Bring your binoculars for the birds and your bifocals for the insects and plants. Meet at 8:00 am at the Jacobs Creek Wetlands Environmental Education Center. Directions: From Connellsville area, take Rt. 982 for approximately 6.7 miles and turn onto White Bridge Road. Go 0.4 miles to parking area on left before you cross the bridge. From Mt. Pleasant, take Rt. 31 and turn right onto White Bridge Rd. after you pass Lennox. Go across the bridge and turn right into parking lot.
9th Annual Riffle Run Golf Scramble

Where: Come join JCWA for the 9th Annual Riffle Run Scramble at the Donegal Highlands Golf Course in the scenic Laurel Highlands. Fall Family Bike Ride and Food Drive

Where: Join JCWA and Troop 160 for a fun bike ride on the Coal and Coke Trail. Meet @ 1:00 p.m. at the trail head in Willows Park in Mt. Pleasant - don't worry, there's no Steeler game this Sunday afternoon! Bring non-perishable food item for a local food bank.
